Engage Towage will implement a revised tariff for their services at Geelong, Port Jackson and Gore Cove from 1 July 2022.
The company has been providing towage services at the ports since 2018, with no change since they started.
Now, however, there have been significant increases in many costs (not including fuel which has been addressed with the recent introduction of the Fuel Levy) such as increased berthage costs, increased crew costs to support availability, the impact of COVID-19 and more, which have made it necessary to increase their tariffs by between 5% and 6% in each port.
