London, 1 September (Argus) — Indian fertilizer importer and producer IPL has bought 40,000t of Australian DAP at $/t cfr for shipment in September.
The price is above Argus’ latest assessment for DAP delivered India at $/t cfr because Australia is exempt from the 5pc import duty applied to other origins.
It probably nets back to the high $/t or low $/t fob Townsville on Australia’s northeast coast.
