Cargill CEO Jan Dieleman replaces Peter Stokes as chair of maritime organization Global Maritime Forum.
Chief Executive of Cargill Ocean Transportation Jan Dieleman is new chairman of maritime organization Global Maritime Forum, according to a press release.
Dieleman replaces Peter Stokes, which has chaired Global Maritime Forum since its foundation in 2017.
Dieleman intends to strengthen the force of impact which the organization has attained in its first five years, he says.
”Together with my fellow directors and the Global Maritime Forum’s leadership, we will build on this momentum and further strengthen our role as a platform for collaboration ensuring the industry and its stakeholders to work together to discuss challenges and find lasting solutions,” states Dieleman in the announcement.
New members of the board of directors at Global Maritime Forum are Lynn Loo, Semiramis Paliou and Rajesh Unni.
