José Negron on the job and on top of the world —actually, the starting point of the 3,000-foot zip line — at NCLH’s Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas
José Negron left Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings after nearly five years in strategic port development and private island operations.
He started at the company as VP strategic port development in 2018 and became VP private island operations in 2020.
An NCLH spokesperson said Negron’s position was eliminated and his responsibilities will be managed within the port development and construction management team led by SVP Juan Kuryla.
Previously with Carnival Corp.
Prior to NCLH, Negron was director of port operations at Carnival Corp. & plc for nearly eight years, managing the company’s assets in Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Turks and Caicos.
He also has been active in the industry through the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association.
