Konecranes has secured an order from Valmet Paper Technology (China) Co., Ltd. to deliver a full range of cranes for the company’s relocation project in Wuxi. The contract, booked in May 2025, will be fulfilled by November 2025.
The order includes two 126-ton and two 80-ton double girder cranes, as well as gantry, jib, and workstation cranes. Equipped with inverter control, Extended Speed Range (ESR), synchronized lifting, and collision protection, the cranes are designed to improve safety, efficiency, and precision.
The heavy-duty cranes will handle equipment weighing up to 126 tons, while smaller cranes will support light assembly work, streamlining material flow and increasing workshop productivity.
“This project required high-capacity solutions with precise movement and strict safety compliance,” said David Ma, Sales Director at Konecranes China. “Our tailored solution will support Valmet’s production processes at their new site.”
