LSCT, the Liguria Regional Administrative Court confirms the legitimacy of the tender for the new Molo Ravano

LA SPEZIA – The Regional Administrative Court (TAR) of Liguria has rejected the appeal, confirming the legitimacy of the tender for the new Molo Ravano, as announced in a note by the terminal company La Spezia Container Terminal, a subsidiary of Contship Italia.

The tender was awarded by LSCT to the consortium composed of the Friulian company Icop, the Spezzina company Agnese Costruzioni, and the Roman company Vianini Lavori, for a base bid amount of 90,024,818.73 euros. The appeal was presented by the consortium of companies composed of Fincosit, Suardi, and Cmci, the runner-up in the tender, which had requested the annulment of the acts and a ruling that LSCT award the contract to them, also reserving the right to seek compensation for equivalent damages if it had proven impossible.

«The Regional Administrative Court for Liguria» – LSCT announces – «with ruling no. /2025 of August 22, has rejected the appeal filed against the tender for the construction of the new Ravano Terminal in the port of La Spezia. The decision confirmed the legitimacy of the tender acts and the correctness of the actions of La Spezia Container Terminal S.p.A., recognizing the full validity of the award procedure.

The TAR deemed the tender clause relating to the economic-financial requirement to be in compliance with current regulations and declared the contractual documentation produced by the winning consortium to be fully effective. In this way, the administrative judge rejected on the merits all the objections raised, confirming the transparency and solidity of the entire awarding process».
