DANISH shipping giant maersk has decided to change the port rotation of the SAECS service aiming to improve efficiency and schedule reliability, according to Athens-based Container News.
The updated rotation of Maersk’s SAECS service will be Port Elizabeth, Durban, Cape Town, Rotterdam, London Gateway, Bremerhaven, Algeciras and back to Port Elizabeth.

For South Africa to Europe, the first vessel on the rotation will be the Santa Isabel 224N, which is scheduled to arrive in Port Elizabeth on October 25.
