On the occasion of the ErasmusDays 2025, the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority and the Provincial Education Office of Livorno, in collaboration with the INDIRE Erasmus+ Agency, promote MARERASMUS – “Live the values of the SEA, express your future”, a series of events that will be held in Cecina (October 15), Livorno (October 16) and Portoferraio (October 17).
The initiative is part of the framework of the forMARE Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Tuscany Region, the Maritime Directorate of Tuscany, AdSP-MTS, and the Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tirreno, aimed at promoting educational alliances in the maritime, nautical, port and logistics sectors. The goal is to strengthen the blue economy through shared educational and professional paths, capable of responding to the skill needs of the territory.
The MARERASMUS events represent an opportunity to spread the values of the European Union and the Erasmus+ program, enhancing the international mobility experiences of students and promoting the culture of the sea as an educational and professional lever.
“The participation of AdSP-MTS in the Erasmus+ program stems from the desire to spread the professions related to the maritime economy, promoting training paths that bring young people closer to the opportunities offered by ports, logistics and the nautical sector,” stated the AdSP promotion manager, Claudio Capuano, who emphasized the role of AdSP-MTS in acting as a bridge between school and business, contributing to the construction of an educational supply chain consistent with the needs of the intermodal system.
