Fire erupted in the front half of general cargo (heavy lift) ship Happy Rover (IMO 9139309)
early in the morning of August 21st while it was dry docked and undergoing repairs, including some hot work, at Schiedam, Rotterdam, Netherlands.. The ship had arrived at Rotterdam from Canada on August 8th. Fire engines responded.

1997-built, Netherlands-flagged, 10,990 gt Happy Rover is owned by CV Happy Rover care of manager Spliethoff’s Bevrachtings BV of Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is entered with Standard Club (Standard Offshore) on behalf of Rederij Happy Rover. As of August 23rd it was moored at Schiedam, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

LPG tanker Coral Ivory (IMO 9207039) reportedly suffered a blackout on August 20th while entering Brunsbuettel Lock, Kiel Canal, and had to drop anchor to avoid colliding with the
dock’s walls and constructions. The tanker was undamaged and was allowed to resume transiting the Canal transit on August 21st after the tanker had been berthed and checked at Brunsbuettel. The lock was surveyed by divers and found to be safe for the passage of ships, although traffic was suspended for some time and a queue developed. The tanker then completed its northbound transit, en route from Terneuzen to Koping Sweden.

2000-built, Netherlands-flagged, 5,831 gt Coral Ivory is owned by Coral Ivory Shipping BV care of manager Anthony Veder Chartering BV of Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is entered with UK Club on behalf of Coral Ivory Shipping BV. As of August 23rd the vessel was underway in the Baltic Sea en route from Sodertalje, Sweden, to Koping, Sweden.

Bulk carrier AP Revelin (IMO 9694696) collided with an unidentified cargo ship in Port
Arthur Waters, Gulf of Mexico, USA, reportedly on August 21st, while leaving port, bound for Immingham. The bulk carrier was said in a Croatian news outlet to have suffered serious damage, citing a statement from operator Atlantska Plovidba on August 22nd. The vessel left port and was anchored at outer anchorage during the afternoon of August 21st to undergo inspection and estimate damages.

2016-built, Croatia-flagged, 25,494 gt AP Revelin is owned by Fortune Mudanjiang Shipping care of manager Atlantska Plovidba dd of Dubrovnik, Croatia. It is entered with North of England Club on behalf of Atlantska Plovidba dd. As of August 23rd the vessel was at Port Arthur Anchorage, US, in the Gulf of Mexico die to head for Immingham, UK, ETA September 8th.

A truck hit a crew member of the crew of /vehicle RoRo Prevelis (IMO 8020927) during the afternoon of August 19th in the port of Piraeus at gate E1. The incident occurred during loading operations and the 36-year-old crew member fell to the ground and was injured. He was transported by ambulance to the University. As of August 22nd the vessel was in the Aegean Sea, en route from Santorini, Greece to Milos, Greece, ETA August 22nd.

1980-built, Greece-flagged, 9,851 gt Prevelis is owned and managed by Anek Lines SA of Chania, Greece. It is entered with UK Club on behalf of Anonimi Naftiliaki Eteria Kritis AE.
