A bulk carrier collided with a fishing vessel or fish carrier in Busan outer anchorage waters, South Korea, shortly after midnight on July 26th. Both ships were under way at the time and both sustained damage. Both were anchored after collision. The bulk carrier was identified via AIS as the Woori Sun (IMO 9310678). It left anchorage several hours after the accident, and resumed sailing in a north-easterly direction. As of July 26th the vessel was underway from Zhanjiang, China, to Busan, South Korea, ETA July 26th.

Container ship Morning Vinafco (IMO 9146780) was reported to have collided with fishing boat BTh 98750 TS some 30nm east of Vung Tau,Vietnam, shortly after dawn on July 25th, while en route from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City. The fishing boat was reported to have sunk, with all four fishermen on board rescued by the container ship and eventually disembarked at Ho Chi Minh City. As of July 26th the vessel was stopped in Ho Chi Minh City.

Offshore supply ship Thunder (IMO 9684847) reported water ingress in the Gulf of Mexico during the afternoon of July 23rd when it was about 65nm south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The ship was returning to Port Fourchon after carrying out offshore works, with an ETA of July 24th. The OSS was disabled and went adrift, later observed to be dead in the water and drifting in a southerly direction, with US Coast Guard ship USCG Moray nearby. A sibling ship of the same company, the MV Squall, was approaching. As of July
25th the vessel was listed as Not Under Command at Fourchon, Gulf of Mexico.

On July 19th passenger ro-ro ship Anatolian (IMO 9005869) sent a distress message signal on July 19th that was picked up by EUNAVFOR ATALANTA Command. The ship reported that it was suffering from a total blackout and lack of supplies. The Anatolian had left Mogadishu Port, Somalia, on July 3rd, bound for Alang, India (most probably for dismantling). Spanish frigate ESPS Numancia and other Naval units responded, but a technical team failed to restore power or propulsion. The Anatolian was finally taken on tow to Bosasso Somalia, Gulf of Aden.
