Bulk carrier Hai Phuong Star (IMO 9338553) was
detained in the waters of Tanjong Karang in Selangor on October 19th. The
Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency detained the vessel for allegedly
anchoring without permission as the captain failed to present proper documents.
The captain and one crew member were taken to the Selangor Maritime State
Headquarters for further investigation.

2008-built, Vietnam-flagged, 19,822 gt Hai Phuong Star is
owned and managed by Hai Phuong Co Ltd of Haiphong City, Vietnam. It is entered
with West of England (Claims Team Hong Kong) on behalf of Hai Phuong Co Ltd.
AIS as of October 21st was in Singapore area near Port Klang.

Tug Pothitos III (IMO 9248617) sank during mooring
operations of the cruise ship Azamara Journey (IMO 9200940) in the port
of Patmos during the evening of October 21st in unclear
circumstances. Two crew members, the 45-year-old skipper and the 26-year-old
engineer, were on board at the time. The engineer was picked up in good health
by the lifeboat and transferred to land. However the captain was found
unconscious inside the sunken ship and was later confirmed to have died.

2000-built, Malta-flagged, 30,277 gt Azamara Journey is
owned by SP Cruises Vessel AJ Ltd care of V Ships Leisure SAM of Monaco-Ville,
Monaco. It is entered with UK Club on behalf of SP Cruises Vessel (AJ) Limited.
As of October 25th the vessel was en route from Agios Nikolaos,
Greece, to Nafplio, Greece, ETA October 26th.

Bulk carrier Luna II (IMO 9217917) was arrested at
Chittagong on October 19th on the orders of the local High Court.
The vessel, laden with 50,000 tonnes of clinker from Oman, had arrived on October
15th to unload the product for the local cement industry.

2002-built, Panama-flagged, 28,693 gt Luna II is owned by
Blue Breeze Shipping & Trading care of manager Al Shumookh Construction of
Dubai, UAE. It is entered with American Club on behalf of Blue Breeze Shipping
& Trading Inc. As of October 25th it was at Chittagong
Anchorage.

General cargo ship G Harmony (IMO 9309514) was
arrested in Singapore shortly after midday local time on October 20th.
No further details yet.

2005-built, Panama-flagged, 24,960 gt G Harmony is owned
by G Harmony Ltd care of manager Glory Ships Co Ltd of Qingdao, Shandong,
China. It is entered with Swedish Club (Asia Team) on behalf of G Harmony Ltd.
As of October 25th it was at Singapore Anchorage, having been
scheduled to leave for Kuwait a few days ago and with an ETA there of October
25th.
