About SCTC
Since its establishment in 1980, the Swedish Chinese Trade Council (SCTC), as an independent, non-political, member-funded association, has always been committed to promoting Sino-Swedish economic and trade cooperation. Not only does it help Swedish companies explore the Chinese market, but through over 40 years of industry insight and network accumulation, it also provides member companies with key support such as market analysis, industry insights, and localized operations, continuously empowering their development in China.
Although Sweden’s domestic maritime market is limited, it holds an important position in the global maritime field by virtue of its profound industrial foundation and continuous innovation capability. For decades, Swedish companies, relying on continuous R&D investment and technological upgrades, have constantly promoted the iteration of products and services, demonstrating strong adaptability and competitiveness through multiple industry changes, and gradually growing into a significant force in the international maritime industry.
To better align with the cooperation needs in the maritime field, SCTC specifically established the Swedish Chinese Maritime Group (SCMG) in 1995, focusing on China’s offshore engineering and shipping markets, systematically carrying out technology and business matching, and hosting the Swedish Pavilion exhibition area at Marintec China every two years, continuously deepening Sino-Swedish maritime technology cooperation.
Participating Company Introduction
Building on the foundation of successful past cooperation, SCTC will once again join hands with 9 member companies for a joint exhibition, covering multiple professional fields such as shipbuilding, marine surveying, fluid control systems, and underwater technology, collectively showcasing Sweden’s technological achievements in maritime innovation and green transformation.
