Milán Port Equipment ships new passenger boarding bridges for Port of San Juan

A new passenger boarding bridge is officially on its way from Milán Port Equipment, in Almería, Spain, to San Juan Cruise Port, in Puerto Rico, to be installed at Pier Panamericano II.

The 85-ton, 47-meter long and 17-meter high load was built by the company in Spain and shipped directly from the Port of Almería to Puerto Rico.The addition will serve cruise operations and increase guest flow at the Panamerican piers.

“This is another visible step in strengthening maritime connectivity and modernizing the infrastructure that welcomes millions of cruise passengers to Puerto Rico,” said San Juan Cruise Port, a company operated by Global Ports Holding (GPH).
