MSC is pleased to announce that it is integrating its Oryx and Origami Services to create an enhanced Origami Service directly connecting Japan, South Korea, China and Singapore with Tanzania and Kenya. The first vessel on the new rotation will be the MSC General IV (voyage number JL546A) sailing from Tokyo on 9 November 2025.
The enhanced Origami Service will uniquely unlock new competitive advantages for cargo shippers, delivering greater efficiencies and facilitating new business opportunities in the connected markets – especially within the automotives, electronics, chemicals and construction materials sectors.
The new rotation will be as follows:
Tokyo – Yokohama – Yokkaichi – Nagoya – Busan – Ningbo – Singapore – Mombasa – Dar es Salam – Singapore – Kaohsiung – Busan – Tokyo
