The Netherlands-headquartered N-Sea is set to expand its fleet with a newbuild hybrid survey and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) support vessel scheduled for delivery in 2026.
N-Sea has signed a long-term charter agreement with Mainport Shipping for the delivery of the vessel named Geo Master, which will be built by Neptune Construction in Hardinxveld- Giessendam, the Netherlands.
According to the company, the new vessel is of similar design and equipped with similar equipment as theGeo Ranger which is already under N-Sea Group management and control.
“The Geo Master will be a new and important contribution to the growth ambitions of N-Sea Group. The vessel will be upgraded to meet the latest standards in fuel efficiency and emissions, but is also able to run on bio-fuel,” N-Sea reported.
N-Sea will have the vessel under full commercial management and control. The plan is to have the vessel delivered in the first quarter of 2026, with it expected to be operational by mid-March 2026.
N-Sea recently made a number of moves to strengthen its fleet and subsea activities. Namely, the company in November 2023 entered into an agreement with Rederij Groen to long-term charter the4-WINDS vesseland extended its long-term charter agreement with Braveheart Marinefor theBraveheart Spiritvessel.
Then in January N-Sea announced ithad charteredGeo Rangerand entered into an agreement with Rederij Groen to long-term charter the modern offshore support vesselAquarius-G. In July it was reported that N-Sea hadconcluded the full acquisitionof compatriot company Geo Plus.
