Norwegian Cruise Line has dropped its policy requiring a legative Covid-19 test before passengers can travel with the cruise line. However, this will not affect travellers in the US.
The new policy comes into force on August 1st, but testing requirements will be retained in places with local regulations, which currently includes the US, Canada, Greece, and Bermuda.
Norwegian said that “the relaxation of the testing policy is in line with the rest of the travel, leisure and hospitality industry worldwide as society continues to adapt and return to a state of normalcy.”
Carnival Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean Cruises still have pre-travel testing requirements in place.
