Stena Line has chosen Nowhere Networks to supply fast internet for 32 of its 38 ships.
Implementation has started and by the beginning of next year, 32 of Stena Line’s ships will be connected to Nowhere Network’s high speed internet network. The total distance of the routes covered will be approximately 4000 km, reportedly the largest network of its kind.
Stena Line has been looking to deliver faster and more reliable high speed Wi-Fi for its passengers and employees on board. Following a six-month evaluation of Nowhere Networks’ internet solution for maritime, Stena Line has decided to implement the solution.
“We are very proud to have one of the world’s largest shipping companies as a customer. Also, Stena Line is renowned for always being at the forefront of innovation development and we really enjoy working with them,” said Asbjörn Frydenlund, CEO, Nowhere Networks.
