Greek firm Pantheon Tankers Management has received DNV class approval for two new Suezmax tankers
Sea Onyx and Sea Sapphire were built by Chinese yard New Times Shipbuilding and delivered to Patheon Tankers in June and August this year.
Both 156,000-dwt ships are among the first vessels delivered in Greece built to DNV’s notations Fuel Ready for Ammonia and LNG fuel notation. In addition, both vessels are equipped with arrangements for controlling and limiting operational emissions and discharges (Clean notation), installations for the removal of SOx and reduction of NOx emissions, and are certified in compliance with the Marpol Tier III NOx emissions requirements.
