Petrobras has selected three offshore support vessels owned by Solstad Offshore to support its offshore hydrocarbon drilling and subsea construction work over the rest of this decade.

The Brazilian state-run energy group will charter two large anchor-handling tug, supply vessels and a construction support vessel (CSV) from the Skudeneshavn, Norway-headquartered owner for four years each.

In another contract, Petrobras will charter 2002-built CSV Normand Flower for four years, starting in December 2025.This 93-m vessel was built to a UT 737 design with a beam of 22 m, a 150-tonne knuckle crane, accommodation for 86 workers and 960 m2 of deck space.
