Bulk carrier SOLINA encountered mechanical issue in the morning Oct 6 in Lake Michigan, Great Lakes, while en route from Milwaukee to Thunder Bay, Lake Superior. SOLINA had to interrupt voyage and anchor off Manistee. She remained at anchor until night Oct 7, when she was taken on tow by tug MEREDITH ASHTON, to be towed back to Milwaukee, ETA Oct 8.
