  • Currents: 1-3 knots generally, up to 4 knots in river mouth (flood tide)
  • Best holding: Outer Anchorage A (3:1 scope recommended in mud)
  • Poor holding areas marked on Chart CH 15721 (rocky patches in E1)
  • Submarine cable corridors clearly marked (no anchoring zones)

Mandatory Procedures:

  1. All vessels must report to Ningde VTS on Ch 12 before anchoring
  2. Anchoring permits required for stays >24h (apply via agent)
  3. Daily position reports at 0800 and 2000 local time
  4. Emergency contact numbers displayed on Port Entry Guide
  5. MARPOL Annex I, IV, V, and VI discharge restrictions strictly enforced
