– Basic fee: JPY 85,000 + JPY 1,200/meter LOA
– Night surcharge (2000-0600): 30% additional

2. Safety & Environmental Charges
– Oil Boom Deployment:
– Standard deployment: JPY 1,200/meter/day
– Emergency deployment: JPY 2,000/meter/day
– Minimum charge: 200 meters
– Fire Services:
– Standby: JPY 45,000/hour (2-hour minimum)
– Actual firefighting: JPY 350,000/hour per truck
– Foam application: JPY 85,000 per ton used
– Waste Management:
– Solid waste: JPY 8,500/m³ (segregated), JPY 12,000/m³ (mixed)
– Food waste: JPY 6,500/m³
– Hazardous waste: JPY 45,000/m³ (special handling)
3. Cargo Operations
– Container Handling:
– Full containers: JPY 850/TEU (standard), JPY 1,100/FEU
– Empty containers: 60% of full container rate
– Reefer monitoring: JPY 350/day per unit
– Bulk Cargo:
– Loading/unloading: JPY 1,200/ton (mechanical), JPY 1,800/ton (manual)
– Trimming: JPY 25,000/hour (minimum 4 hours)
– Sampling: JPY 15,000 per sample (max 3 samples free)
4. Crew Services
– Shore Passes:
– Temporary pass: JPY 3,500/person (valid 24h)
– Medical emergency: No charge with proper documentation
– Crew Changes:
– Immigration processing: JPY 12,000/person
– COVID testing (if required): JPY 25,000/test
5. Compliance Notes
– All charges subject to 10% consumption tax unless exempt
– Foreign vessels must present valid P&I insurance certificates
– Dispute resolution through Japan Maritime Arbitration Association
– Tariffs effective from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025
