1. Vessel-Related Charges
– Tonnage Dues:
– <500 GT: JPY 15,000 per call – 500-10,000 GT: JPY 30,000 + JPY 50/GT – >10,000 GT: JPY 80,000 + JPY 30/GT

– Port Dues:
– Base fee: JPY 20,000 per entry
– Additional JPY 5,000 per 24h stay
– 15% discount for vessels making >10 calls/year

– Compulsory for vessels >500 GT or LOA >50m
– Basic fee: JPY 45,000 (up to 5,000 GT)

– Towage Fees:

– General cargo berth: JPY 12,000/day for first 100m LOA + JPY 1,200 per additional meter

2. Mandatory Safety & Environmental Fees
– Oil Boom Deployment:
– Minimum JPY 120,000 per operation
– Extended deployment: JPY 30,000/hour after first 4 hours

– Fire Service Standby:
– During hot work: JPY 35,000/hour
– Minimum 4 hours charge

– ISPS Security Charges:
– Level 1: JPY 15,000 per call
– Level 2: JPY 45,000 per call
– Includes 2 security patrols per 24h period

3. Cargo Handling Charges
– Container Operations:
– Loading/unloading: JPY 2,800/TEU (20′), JPY 4,200/TEU (40′)
– Reefer plug-in: JPY 1,500/day
– Dangerous cargo surcharge: +25%

– Bulk Cargo:
– Grain handling: JPY 1,800/ton
– Coal/ore: JPY 1,200/ton
– Minimum charge: 500 tons

4. Important Notes:
1. All charges subject to 10% consumption tax (JCT)
2. Foreign vessels must pay in JPY via approved agents
3. Disputes resolved under Japan Port Law Chapter VII
4. Winter surcharges (Dec-Mar): +15% for all services
