1. Vessel-Related Charges
– Tonnage Dues: Calculated based on GT (Gross Tonnage) as per Sakaide Port Authority Tariff No.2023-01. Example: 0.15 JPY per GT for first 10,000 GT.
– Port Dues: 12,000 JPY for vessels under 5,000 GT, 25,000 JPY for 5,001-20,000 GT (per entry basis).
– Pilotage Fees:
– Entry/Exit: 85,000 JPY for vessels up to 200m LOA
– Shifting: 45,000 JPY per movement within port
– Towage Fees:
– 120,000 JPY/hour for tugboat (minimum 2 hours)
– 150,000 JPY/hour for tugboat during night operations (2000-0600)
– Berthage Fees:
– General Cargo Berth: 15,000 JPY/day for vessels <150m
– Container Terminal: 18,000 JPY/day for same size
– Mooring/Unmooring: 8,000 JPY per operation (both ends)
– Light Dues: Included in port dues (0.02% of vessel value annually)
– Quarantine Fees:
– Standard inspection: 35,000 JPY
– Extended inspection: 75,000 JPY (if required)
– Customs Clearance: 12,000 JPY per declaration
– Barge Hire: 25,000 JPY/hour (minimum 4 hours)
– Hatches Operation: 3,500 JPY per hatch (opening/closing)

2. Service Charges
– Garbage Disposal:
– 5,000 JPY per m³ (non-hazardous)

– On/Off Hire Survey: 150,000 JPY (standard survey)
– Fumigation:
– 8,000 JPY per 100m³ (containerized cargo)
– 12,000 JPY per 100m³ (bulk cargo)
– Launch Service: 15,000 JPY per trip (max 10 persons)
– Firefighting Standby: 85,000 JPY per 4-hour period
– ISPS Charges: 5,000 JPY per day (all vessels >500 GT)
– Fresh Water Supply: 300 JPY per ton (minimum 50 tons)
– Bunkering Service Fee: 1.5% of fuel cost (minimum 25,000 JPY)
– Shore Power Connection: 7,000 JPY/hour usage fee
– Sludge Disposal: 15,000 JPY per ton (IMO certified)
– Ship Agency Fees: 0.25% of total disbursement (minimum 200,000 JPY)

3. Crew & Communication

– Internet Access: 5,000 JPY/week (port WiFi service)
4. Cargo-Related Charges

– 120 JPY per ton (general cargo)

– Stevedoring:
– 1,500 JPY per ton (breakbulk)
– 800 JPY per TEU (container handling)
– Stowage Planning: 25,000 JPY per vessel

– First 3 days free
– 100 JPY per ton/day thereafter
– Lighterage: 30,000 JPY per barge movement
– Warehouse Usage:
– 150 JPY per m²/day (covered)

5. Additional Potential Charges
– Overtime Labor: 150% of normal rate (after 1700 hours)
– Dangerous Cargo Handling: 200% of standard rate
– Customs Examination: 50,000 JPY per container (if selected)
– Freshwater Delay Charge: 5,000 JPY per hour if vessel delays supply
6. Safety & Compliance
– Port Safety Inspection: 45,000 JPY (quarterly for regular callers)
– Navigation Aid Maintenance: 0.01% of vessel value (annual contribution)
– Oil Spill Preparedness: Mandatory 100,000 JPY deposit for tankers
– Gangway Watchman: 3,000 JPY/hour (required after 2200 hours)
