The teams of the PortosRio Harbor Guard participated in an intensive training focused on the response to bomb threats.

Led by specialist Erasmo Gomes from Grupo Abrapam, the training presented updated and practical content. Based on real examples, the harbor guards participated in dynamic simulations that prepared them to act with security, precision, and efficiency in critical situations, both in public areas and in leased terminals.

The superintendent of the PortosRio Harbor Guard, Jorge Dantas, highlighted that the initiative is part of the company’s continuous program to improve its workforce, ensuring constant preparedness for different risk scenarios.

“Trainings like this are essential to guarantee fast and secure responses in emergency situations. The continuous training of the Harbor Guard is fundamental to protecting users, facilities, and port operations,” stated Dantas.

The action reaffirms PortosRio’s commitment, the terminal says, to port security, an essential element for the competitiveness of the ports and aligned with the best national and international practices of the sector.
