All official institutions and banks in Turkey will be closed tomorrow (30 August) for the “30 August Victory Day” public holiday.
Some ports may suspend their operations on this date or increase charges for certain services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) by 50%, so it is important to check before calling at any Turkish port.
There will be an additional 50% pilotage charge for the Turkish Straits on this date.
Arrangements for crew, spares, provisions, documentation, should be made in good time to enable clearance and delivery.
