Port operations in Gibraltar remain suspended this morning (2 September) following the collision between two ships earlier in the week.
According to an overnight update on the government website (), the situation has been stable with continuous pumping out of diesel from one of the vessels overnight with 197 cubic metres of diesel (80% of the vessel’s load) removed by 07:00 hours local time today.
Continuous monitoring has been in place throughout the night including drone and land based thermal imagining.
