“These figures reflect the new momentum that the Port of Itajaí is experiencing under federal management, with operational stability, integrated planning, and confidence from the productive sector. This growth is the result of collaborative work between technical teams, operators, and intervening agencies, restoring to the port and the city the logistical leadership they have always had in Santa Catarina,” stated João Paulo Tavares Bastos, superintendent of the Port of Itajaí.
