The Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) has announced the retirement of President and CEO Shaun Stevenson, effective December 31, 2025. Stevenson has been a key figure at PRPA since 1997 and led the organization since 2018, overseeing over $3 billion in development and helping position the Port of Prince Rupert as Canada’s third largest port. His leadership contributed to $60 billion in trade, $1.4 billion in annual economic activity across northern BC, and support for 7,500 gateway jobs. The PRPA Board expressed deep gratitude for his service and will begin a search for his successor to ensure a smooth transition
