On June 15, Qingdao SunRui Marine Environment Engineering Company and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held the signing ceremony of order for sixLNG fuel gas supply systems (FGSS).
FGSS equipment signed this time will serve the six 16,000TEUdual-fuel container vessels built for the world’s largest container ship owner MSC, which is compatible with the world’s largest low speed dual-fuel engine launched by WinGD, and is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.
With the introduction of ship environmental protection regulations and decarbonization policies of various countries, LNG powered ships will be built in large numbers. In the past, some core technologies in FGSS field were monopolized by a few foreign manufacturers. After five years of research and development, Qingdao SunRui has developed GasLink® Marine LNG gas supply system with completely independent intellectual property rights.
