Queen Elizabeth arrived in Fremantle on Monday at the start of a 121-day season
in Australia and New Zealand
Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth arrived in Fremantle on a repositioning voyage from Barcelona on Monday with a shopping list that included Western Australian fruit, vegetables and dairy products.

The 90,400gt liner, last in Fremantle in 2019, is undertaking a record-breaking season of 121 days and 61 port calls in Australia and New Zealand.

Circumnavigation of Australia

From Fremantle she sails to Adelaide and Melbourne, arriving in Sydney on November 15 when she will embark on a /Sydney circumnavigation of Australia.

She will visit the Whitsunday Islands, Cairns, Port Douglas, Darwin, Bali, Fremantle, Esperance, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Melbourne and Burnie, returning to Sydney on December 13.

450 tonnes of fresh produce

During her deployment Down Under she will take on 450 tonnes of fresh Australian produce.

Cunard VP Commercial for North America and AustralasiaMatt Gleavessaid Western Australia has ‘incredible food and wine’ and the company is proud to showcase ‘this world class produce’ on board Queen Elizabeth.

The Group General Manager of Select Fresh Providores Steven Biviano said the cruise industry is critical for many local farmers and suppliers.

‘Cunard’s guests can expect nothing less than some of the best fresh local provisions loaded in Fremantle and throughout the season,’ Biviano said.
