Icon of the Seas’ new Surfside neighborhood for young families
Royal Caribbean International scored the single largest booking day in its 53-year history when reservations opened for Icon of the Seas.
This was fresh off the heels of revealing the first look at the new world’s largest cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean is touting what it calls the ultimate family vacation in Icon of the Seas, including multigenerational families. The ship offers eight neighborhoods, among them, Surfside for young families, Thrill Island with its adrenaline-pumping slides, Chill Island forrelaxing pools with great viewsand the four-level Suite Neighborhood.
Family-friendly accommodations
There is a choice of 28 stateroom categories, half withnew layouts, and many family-friendly accommodations that sleep three, four, five, six or more. Over80% of the rooms have more than two berths.
