The Sana’a Government in North Yemen have instructed all shipping agents in the country not to attend to or accept agency nomination for oil and gas tankers from 18:00 hours local time on 2 October, warning of serious consequences for violators.
The Yemeni Government Ministry of Transport in Aden is considering the situation and will probably come up with a statement or action in response to the circulars issued by the Sana’a Government.
Meanwhile, all Yemeni ports remain open and operational as normal.
