Must read

At 06:18 on the morning of November 8, 2025, an 11,000 DWT multi-purpose vessel built by Sanfu Shipbuilding for a German shipowner was successfully launched at the company’s No. 2 slipway.

The vessel has an overall length of 149.95 meters, a length between perpendiculars of 143.05 meters, a molded breadth of 23.20 meters, a molded depth of 10.5 meters, a design draft of 8.50 meters, and a speed of 15.5 knots. It is designed to be equipped with two 250-ton cranes and is classed by Lloyd’s Register.

This vessel is driven by a single fixed-pitch propeller and a low-speed diesel engine, and is equipped with two 250T cranes, with a maximum combined lifting capacity of 500T. To make cargo loading more flexible and convenient, its most notable feature is the placement of the superstructure at the bow. Simultaneously, the cargo holds are designed for open-top loading, and the depth of the holds is significantly increased, maximizing both the single-hold capacity and the open area of the weather deck. Furthermore, the vessel is designed with two layers of tween decks, which can be adjusted and stacked at nine different positions vertically, greatly increasing the variety of cargo that can be loaded.
