The South Carolina Ports Authority will release its productivity report on Tuesday, the first since President and CEO Barbara Melvin announced her resignation last month.
The SC Ports is one of the largest economic drivers in the state, bringing in around $87 billion annually, and supports one in nine jobs statewide.
South Carolina ports have maintained steady import and export volume, even recording a 53% increase in vehicle imports and exports this July compared to the same time last year.
Tuesday’s report will include the final year-to-date volume results for fiscal years 2025 and 2026. Those numbers are expected to be released in the afternoon.
