SeaLead Launches Direct Shipping Route Turkiye – Italy Express Service

Must read

SeaLead, a fast-growing global shipping line, has introduced the Turkiye – Italy Express (TIE) Service, a direct shipping service that connects Turkiye to Italy. This strategic move will strengthen SeaLead’s presence in the region, support growing trade flows between Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe, and reduce transit time for customers.

The shipping line said that TIE service will provide a reliable, efficient, and fast transportation solution. It will have a structured weekly schedule. SeaLead said the port rotation covers Gemlik, Izmit, Istanbul, Aliaga, Salerno, La Spezia, and Genoa, before returning to Gemlik. TIE service will be inaugurated on June 25, with departure from Gemlik.

The new service complements SeaLead’s existing network across the Mediterranean, Europe, and Asia, which includes the WARM and 5CX services. It follows a strategic routing through the Suez Canal, offering a time-efficient solution, and enabling faster connectivity to the Mediterranean and Europe from Asia, supporting customers with enhanced speed, reliability, and more predictable supply chain operations.

Sealand Expands Global Footprint

Doreen Yeo, Chief Commercial Officer at SeaLead, said the shipping line continues to expand its global footprint by connecting strategic markets across the Mediterranean, Europe, and Asia with reliable and efficient services. “The recent launch of our office in Spain marks a significant step in strengthening our presence in Europe. The Turkiye – Italy Express further enhances connectivity across key trade corridors, providing customers with efficient access to growing markets and optimized end-to-end solutions.”

Kadir Oruc, Regional Managing Director, Europe and Mediterranean, SeaLead, said this service has been designed to deliver speed, reliability, and efficiency for the customers. “By offering a direct, structured weekly schedule, we are reducing transit times, minimizing the need for transshipments, and ensuring more predictable supply chain operations.” He added that TIE service reflects SeaLead’s ongoing commitment to providing agile and dependable logistics solutions across the Mediterranean and European region.

Turkiye – Italy service will provide a weekly dedicated route, fast and reliable transit times to Salerno, La Spezia, and Genoa, and seamless connectivity with SeaLead’s existing network across the Mediterranean, Europe, and Asia. SeaLead remains committed to enhancing connectivity, delivering efficient, customer-focused shipping solutions across key global markets.
