Chinese-built Cook Strait ferries confirmed by NZ Government
Has been confirmed this past week, with some concerns being raised about it being a state owned military shipyard.
Government Port Review
ICLC (International Container Lines Committee) sat before the The Transport and Infrastructure Select Committee in Wellington on the 16th October to better explain their submission as part of the Government review of ports and productivity.
Shipping NZ AGM
The 54th Annual Shipping NZ AGM was held on the 15th October for membership. The committee reviewed for the membership the issues they were dealing with and revoted in 2 committee members and 1 new committee member. The AGM was followed by a luncheon with attendance by invited guests.
