October 14, 2025 – Silverstream Technologies, the global leader in air lubrication technology for shipping, announced that it will participate in a series of important industry events in China in the coming months. This move highlights the company’s deepening commitment to the Chinese market, which has always been a market of significant importance in Silverstream’s strategic layout.
Silverstream will appear at four major Chinese industry events, including “Marintec China 2025”, the “Pudong International Shipping Finance Forum”, the “North Bund International Shipping Forum”, and the “Pudong Shipping Week”, and will attend multiple industry seminars and related activities during this period.
North Bund International Shipping Forum and Pudong International Shipping Finance Forum
From October 19 to 21, at the invitation of Shanghai Maritime University, Silverstream will participate in the “North Bund International Shipping Forum” jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and the Ministry of Transport of China. The company’s Chief Strategy Officer, Stephen Potts, will attend the “Global Shipping Green Development Roundtable” on October 20.
On October 20, the “Pudong International Shipping Finance Forum” held in Shanghai Pudong will also officially commence, with Silverstream serving as an Honorary Sponsor of this forum. The company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Craig Patrick, will deliver a speech at the forum.
Hong Kong Maritime Week
In November, Silverstream will appear at “Hong Kong Maritime Week” (November 16-21). The company’s LNGC Sales Director, Oliver Woodard, and Technical Sales Manager for the China team, Lu Xiaofeng, plan to attend, though the specific personnel list is to be confirmed. Additionally, Silverstream plans to attend the “2025 Seadeal Hong Kong Forum” in Hong Kong on November 19.
The Year-End Highlight: Marintec China 2025
As in previous years, December this year will be a busy period for industry events, and Silverstream Technologies will participate in several important activities. From December 2 to 5, the company will showcase its pioneering air lubrication technology at “Marintec China 2025” in Shanghai, at booth number C7A, Hall N2. Confirmed attendees include the company’s CEO and Founder, Noah Silberschmidt, Chief Commercial Officer Craig Patrick, Chief Strategy Officer Stephen Potts, and the technical expert team from the Silverstream Shanghai office.
The previous Marintec China 2023 attracted a record number of over 80,000 professional visitors and more than 2,000 exhibiting companies. This exhibition, jointly organized by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry, and the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, is a biennial maritime industry event and China’s most influential maritime exhibition. This year it will continue to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
During this year’s Marintec China, multiple professional forums will also be held concurrently. Among them, at the “Supporting Equipment Technology Forum” on December 1, Silverstream CEO Noah Silberschmidt will deliver a keynote speech.
During the “Pudong Shipping Week” (December 2-6), held concurrently with Marintec China, Silverstream will also participate in some conference sessions, including the “Seadeal Ship Operation and Management Forum” on December 3.
As the finale of this year’s activities, Silverstream Technologies plans to host an offline networking event in Shanghai in December (specific date to be determined), further demonstrating the company’s commitment to long-term investment in the Chinese market.
