Soil investigation works are being carried out at the Northern Coast of Woodlands (western side of the Causeway) until 20 October.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.106 of 2025, the works are being conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:

3) 01°26·688’N / 103°45·987’E
4) 01°26·678’N / 103°45·964’E
5) 01°26·708’N / 103°45·913’E
6) 01°26·724’N / 103°45·851’E
7) 01°26·704’N / 103°45·816’E
8) 01°26·651’N / 103°45·751’E
9) 01°26·619’N / 103°45·659’E
10) 01°26·885’N / 103°45·547’E
11) 01°27·139’N / 103°46·151’E
The work involves carrying out soil investigation to gather information about the existing ground conditions.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control); and communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
