Strata Worldwide became a new member of Ichca. The specialist in the use of smart technologies, including remote sensors and monitoring, thus joins the cargo handling community dedicated to safety in the port work environment.
Since both Ichca (International Cargo Handling Co-ordination Association) and Strata understand the complexity of operating in a modern and dynamic cargo handling environment, their objectives coincide regarding the protection of sector workers and the maintenance of productivity. For this reason, the new addition to the association is welcomed by the former and valued by the latter.
Representing Strata Worldwide, Adam Beauchamp, director of the company’s Maritime Division, commented that “Strata’s function is to protect workers who operate heavy machinery in various industrial sectors. In the global port environment, we implement an artificial intelligence-based vision system to offer proactive accident prevention with early hazard detection and alert.”
