For approximately three weeks, submarine cable repairing works will be carried out along the straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (F):
(A) 22º 11.712’ N 114º 15.204’ E
(B) 22º 11.843’ N 114º 16.482’ E
(C) 22º 11.960’ N 114º 17.789’ E
(D) 22º 11.608’ N 114º 23.538’ E
(E) 22º 13.313’ N 114º 25.115’ E
(F) 22º 13.331’ N 114º 25.495’ E
The works will be carried out by a special purpose vessel “CABLE RETRIEVER”. The ship will deploy a remotely operated vehicle to conduct the cable survey and burial works.
A working area of approximately 250 metres will be established around the cable ship.
The hours of work will be round-the-clock.
Vessel engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
