TECO 2030 to supply BIO-SEA system to CMI’s Ocean Diamond

Ocean Diamond sails for Iceland Pro Cruises and Quark Expeditions
TECO 2030 received an order for a Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) powered by BIO-SEA from CMI Ship Management, for the expedition ship Ocean Diamond.

The order is worth approximately 910,000Norwegian kroner ($93,943).

Ocean Diamond sails forIceland Pro Cruises and Quark Expeditions.

Sixth order from CMI

This is the sixth BWTS system ordered from TECO 2030 by CMI in Miami.

The BIO-SEA system complies with IMO and US Coast Guard rules. By 2024, all ships will need a BWTS.

‘The sale of existing and proven technology to reduce emissions and pollution from ships means TECO 2030 will have meaningful revenue streams while we work on our most ambitious project, the development of theTECO 2030 Marine Fuel Cell,a hydrogen-based PEM fuel cellspecifically developed for maritime use,’ TECO 2030 CEO Tore Enger said.
