Terminal Pacífico Sur serves second cruise ship of the 2025-2026 season

Terminal Pacífico Sur (TPS) received the second cruise ship of the 2025-2026 season, which was realized with the arrival of Le Lyrial at Site No. 5 of the Port of Valparaíso. It will be managed by A.J. Broom.

With this, there are now five passenger vessels that have arrived at the port facility so far this season, which began on October 12 at TPS with the call of the Silver Endeavour. The remaining three have been handled by the concessionaire Terminal Portuario Valparaíso (TPV).

The itineraries of Le Lyrial include departures from Valparaíso and passages through Chiloé, Pulluche Channel, Tortel, Pio XI Glacier, El Brujo Glacier, Skua Glacier, Las Montañas Sound, Strait of Magellan, Tuckers Islands, Agostini Glacier, Garibaldi Glacier, Cape Horn, Puerto Williams and Ushuaia (Argentina).

The ship, launched in 2015 from the Fincantieri facilities in Italy, belongs to the Ponant Cruises fleet. It is the fourth and final unit of an order for four ships, with the twins being L’Austral, Le Boreal and Le Soleal.

All ships feature ice-strengthened hulls, streamlined superstructures, Zodiac boats for landings between the cruise ship and the shore. They cover itineraries around the world, including the Caribbean, the Baltic, the Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, South America and Australia.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the next cruise ship to arrive at the Port of Valparaíso will be the Viking Octantis. The vessel is expected to arrive on October 30.
