On September 24, the “Shenghang” system, the first innovative integrated ship pullback launch system in China, successfully completed the actual ship test in Hubei Yidu Green Intelligent Ship Industrial Park, which marks a new technological breakthrough in the field of special equipment for shipbuilding in China, and also provides replicable equipment solutions for the manufacturing and upgrading of shipbuilding bases.
The “Shenghang” system is independently developed by China Railway Science and Industry, integrating four modules: special lifting equipment, heavy-duty transportation equipment, launching system and intelligent control system, and realizes the safe operation of the ship first lifting over the embankment and then smoothly sliding into the river through the three-stage operation system of “land traction-embankment conversion-slide into the water”.
Yichang has 232 kilometers of the Yangtze River trunk line, which is one of the busiest “golden waterways” in the Yangtze River Basin and one of the four major shipbuilding bases in Hubei. In recent years, Yichang has proposed to build an “electrified Yangtze River pilot zone”, accelerate the formation of an “electrified Yangtze River” industrial chain, and promote the development of green shipping on the Yangtze River.
