CCPIT Guangxi Committee stated that the establishment of this workstation and the signing of the aforementioned cooperation agreement will further advance the innovation of diversified dispute resolution mechanisms for maritime justice and maritime arbitration, and explore a benign interactive cooperation model of “platform integration + business collaboration” between maritime courts and arbitration mediation institutions.
As a frontier and window for China’s opening up and cooperation with ASEAN, Guangxi, relying on the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, is actively promoting institutional openness. CCPIT Guangxi Committee focuses on the connection between litigation, arbitration, and mediation to establish an international commercial guarantee mechanism with Guangxi characteristics for litigation-arbitration-mediation linkage. Guangxi’s first Litigation-Arbitration-Mediation Linkage Workstation for maritime and commercial disputes will provide Chinese and foreign parties with fair, efficient, and convenient legal services for maritime and commercial affairs. It will assist Guangxi in steadily expanding institutional openness in rules, regulations, management, and standards, aiming to build a preferred destination for commercial dispute resolution facing ASEAN.
