On October 10th, the “Huaguang Linghang,” the largest dedicated container ship for the Yangtze River inland waterways, meticulously built by Hunan Jinhang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Huaguang Yuanhai International Logistics Group, successfully completed various sea trials. This marks that this new generation of container ships for the Yangtze River inland waterways is ready for delivery and will soon be officially put into operation.
During the trials, all performance indicators of the ship met or exceeded design expectations. Its maneuverability, stability, speed, and key system equipment such as the main and auxiliary engines, steering gear, and anchoring systems all tested excellently, winning high recognition from the experts present and the shipowner.
The “Huaguang Linghang” is the first container ship resulting from the cooperation between Jinhang Shipbuilding and Huaguang Yuanhai. The ship is 129.98 meters long, 23.9 meters wide, with a depth of 11 meters and a loading capacity of 14,000 deadweight tons, making it the largest container ship on the Yangtze River inland waterways. The construction of the “Huaguang Linghang” began on January 22nd this year, and it was launched on August 15th, two months ahead of the planned schedule.
After the delivery of this ship, Jinhang Shipbuilding will commence construction on the /LNG single-energy powered river-sea直达 open-top container ship for which both parties have already signed a contract. On August 11th this year, the two companies signed a construction contract for the /LNG-powered river-sea直达 open-top container ship. Upon completion, this ship will become the largest river-sea直达 container ship on the Yangtze River route and is a landmark project for the green transformation of Yangtze River shipping.

Hunan Jinhang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 with a registered capital of 118 million yuan. It is a large integrated shipbuilding professional manufacturing enterprise engaged in the design and construction of various steel ships, yachts, passenger ships, and related products. Its annual ship production capacity is 200,000 deadweight tons, and it currently has nearly 400 employees.
Jinhang Shipbuilding possesses the production, construction, and design qualifications for coastal and inland Grade I, Category II steel ships, Grade II aluminum ships, and Grade B ship design.
