The reporter learned from Tianjin Port Group on the 10th that the world’s first “smart zero-carbon” terminal, Tianjin Port No. 2 Container Terminal, efficiently completed the loading and unloading operation of the large container ship “Mediterranean Alina” 23534 TEU on the 9th, setting a new record for the number of container ships operating in a single voyage in Tianjin Port, and setting a new record for the number of single-voyage operations of container ships in Tianjin Port, and setting a new record for the number of single-voyage operations of China’s automated container terminals.
According to reports, the “Mediterranean Alina” carries automobiles and accessories, ketchup, coiled steel, bicycles, chemicals and other special commodities of enterprises in the hinterland of Tianjin Port, and will sail along the Mediterranean West Africa route to India, Singapore, Vietnam and other countries.
Feng Miao, manager of the operation department of Tianjin Port Second Container Terminal Co., Ltd., introduced that in order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the “Mediterranean Alina”, the terminal adopts the “loading and unloading” process, with the “shipside direct lifting” operation mode, to maximize the loading and unloading of “flood peak” pressure; Actively coordinate shipping companies to adjust the stowage ship map, connect the yard fleet to improve the transportation efficiency, achieve large throughput loading and unloading balance, and with the help of intelligent means, the ship, the port side and the external yard fleet work together to achieve efficient coordination.
