On September 4th, the renowned European floating wind power design company, Gazelle Wind Power, visited Tiansun Offshore’s Nantong base, and the two parties formally signed a cooperation agreement.
According to the agreement, in the future, Tiansun Offshore will leverage its advantages in offshore equipment manufacturing, project execution, and local resource integration, joining forces with Gazelle Wind Power’s cutting-edge technology R&D capabilities. They will engage in broader and deeper cooperation in areas such as the joint development of floating wind power products, technological iteration, and market expansion, working together to promote the industrial application of floating wind power technology and its global market deployment.
As a Portuguese organization specializing in the R&D of floating wind power foundations, Gazelle Wind Power possesses profound technical expertise in this field. Its developed third-generation floating wind power foundation design innovatively incorporates a modular architecture and rapid assembly concept. This not only significantly compresses the overall project design and construction cycle but also markedly reduces site occupancy costs, demonstrating outstanding advantages in enhancing project efficiency and economy, making it the technical focus of this exchange.
During the exchange, the teams from both sides focused on practical cooperation needs and conducted detailed discussions on several key issues: regarding the dock assembly plan for Gazelle’s floating wind power foundations, they jointly analyzed technical adaptation points and optimization directions based on the Nantong base’s site conditions, logistics support, and construction standards; on mooring solution design, they exchanged practical experience centering on core requirements such as marine environment adaptability, equipment stability, and maintenance convenience; simultaneously, both parties also conducted an in-depth analysis of the policy direction, installation demand, industry chain layout, and future development trends of the European floating wind power market, providing decision-making reference for the market positioning of the cooperative project.
