Turkish minehunter ship named TCG Amasra was sent to İğneada, town of Demirköy district of Kırklareli on the black sea coast.
Fishermen had come across an object in the sea in the morning hours in İğneada town of Demirköy district of Kırklareli, which has a coast on the Black Sea.
The Coast Guard teams, who went to the region after the fishermen informed, determined existence of a mine. The Underwater Defense (SAS) Teams, which later came to the region, destroyed the mine under wide security precaution.
The TCG Amasra mine-hunting vessel was also sent to Igneada. It has been learned that the ship will carry out mine search and scanning activities in the region.
