TWO LOW-EMISSION CREW BOATS COMPLETED BY STRATEGIC MARINE

Singapore aluminium shipbuilder Strategic Marine and its strategic partner Prima Marine, a Thai marine transport company. have announced the delivery of two 42m Generation 4 Fast Crew Boats (FCBs) to NMDC LTS, a Middle Eastern provider of marine and offshore services.

This first-ever delivery to NMDC LTS is considered an important milestone for Strategic Marine, showcasing its ability to secure new partnerships in the region. Purpose-built for offshore operations in the Middle East, the vessels highlight Strategic Marine’s focus on delivering innovative and reliable vessel solutions tailored to client and regional requirements.

Designed in close collaboration with Southerly Designs, the vessels feature Strategic Marine’s proven hull form to maximise fuel efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance seakeeping performance. Each vessel is equipped with a gyro stabiliser system, offering roll reduction and stability for safer and more comfortable crew transfers in challenging sea states.

The FCBs can accommodate up to 80 personnel in ergonomic seating and are fitted with reinforced cargo decks to support flexible offshore operations. With future-proofing central to the design, the vessels are prepared for hybrid upgrades and integration of walk-to-work or motion-compensated gangway systems to meet evolving offshore requirements.
